Based in New York, Meli Levi is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose progressive folk-rock and blues sound is anchored in emotionally honest lyrics and warm, powerful vocals. Recently relocated from the West Coast, Meli returns to the stage after a period of deep immersion in meditation practices that have sharpened her artistic intent.
Often compared to Boygenius, Brandi Carlile, and Hozier, Meli has shared stages with industry heavyweights including Brandi Carlile, Olive Klug, Amy Ray (Indigo Girls) and Kelly Finnigan (Monophonics). Her work has earned significant recognition in prestigious circles, with placements in the International Songwriting Competition, Unsigned Only Music Awards, and the West Coast Songwriters Song Contest.
Her performance history spans festivals such as Juan de Fuca, Milwaukee Summerfest, Northwest Folklife and Pride Festivals across the USA (San Francisco, Seattle, Portland etc) alongside iconic venues such as The Hotel Cafe (Hollywood), The Crocodile (Seattle) and Berlin (East Village).
In the studio, Meli has collaborated with production legend Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden) and recorded at London Bridge Studios with Jonathan Plum (Brandi Carlile, Pearl Jam). Her debut solo EP, “Crowned” (2023), was co-produced with multi-Grammy-winner Isha Erskine (Maroon 5), while her self-produced EP release, “All Things May Be” (2024), was released to great acclaim and showcases her evolution in arrangement and guitar work.
Currently, she is finishing a full-length album with producer and label consultant Jeffrey Wood (Warner Bros).

- Meli once got invited to hang out with Danny Carey (drummer for Tool) and his crew on their tour bus after a Pigmy Love Circus show in Seattle. They ate tortilla chips, drank beer and laughed a lot!
- Meli won the Michigan State High School Forensics Championship (Forensics = acting, not forensic science ;) )
- Meli took her first trip as a solo traveler to Northern India in 2018 and spent 6 weeks there traveling around meditating, meeting locals and (un)learning a lot about herself.
