Recently returned to music after diving into the depths of meditation for many years, New York based Meli Levi is an innovative artist who creates intimate connections with listeners. Melding compelling progressive indie rock with the soul of a singer-songwriter, their style has been likened to artists such as Boygenius, Radiohead and Hozier.
Meli's songwriting and performing have gained significant recognition including being selected as a Semi-Finalist in the 2025 Unsigned Only Music awards, the 2024 International Songwriting Competition (multiple categories) and the 2024 Unsigned Only Music Awards.
Meli has supported Brandi Carlile, Amy Ray (Indigo Girls), Kelly Finnigan (Monophonics) and Abby Posner, and co-headlined tours with Kristen Ford (Righteous Babe Records). This year marked a new tour expansion into the New England and New York markets.
Festival Performance Highlights include SXSW (Austin), Juan de Fuca Festival (Washington), Northwest Folklife (Seattle), Seattle, San Francisco, Milwaukee & Portland Pride festivals. Venue Highlights include The Hotel Cafe (Hollywood) Berlin (NYC) and Sweetwater Music Hall (Mill Valley, CA).
Self-produced and released in May 2024, Meli’s EP album, All Things May Be, showcases Meli’s imaginative arrangements, skilled guitar work and a dexterous voice that has "the prairie-dog cuteness of Brandi Carlile...but can crescendo like Jeff Buckley...” - Seattle Sound Magazine.
Meli is in the studio finishing up their new full length album with producer and label consultant Jeffrey Wood (Warner Bros.).

Quotes
“All Things May Be’ is a well-produced EP with an organic feel, showcasing Meli’s expressive vocals, imaginative arrangements, and skilled guitar work.”
“A personal favorite because of its Liz Phair-like alt-rock flow, “Close to You” features darker guitars juxtaposing luminous vocals. The splendid, layered vocal harmonies on the title track, which closes the EP, are worth the price of admission.”
“Levi crafts an emotive blend of folk rock and blues, leaning into moments of gentle intimacy and well-honed grooves.”
“The performances, songwriting, and arrangements have a unique way of bending certain kinds of genres so that what (Meli Levi) has created is something all its own...”
